Ghewar


Ingredients:
1/2 cup ghee
Few ice cubes
2 cup maida
1/2 cup chilled milk
3 cup chilled water
1 tsp lemon juice

 • Take 1/2 ghee in a bowl
 • Rub ice cubes with ghee for approximately 6 minutes till it turns whitish
 • Now add 2 cup maida to the smooth mixture of ghee & mix well
 • Add 1/2 cup chilled milk & 1 cup chilled water to form batter
 • Add 1 more cup chilled water then whisk for few minutes
 • Add 1 tsp lemon juice & 1 cup chilled water
 • Mix thoroughly
 • Take a sauce pan with oil & heat at medium flame
 • Pour the batter from 2 ft height in batches leaving hole in the center
 • Scrape form the sides
 • Remove from the oil when it turns golden
 • Put some sugar syrup, garnish with dry fruits & enjoy
