Veg Momos
Momos dough:
2 cups maida
2 tbsps oil
salt to taste
water accordingly
• Mix all the above ingredients thoroughly & form a soft dough
• Rest for 20 mins covered with wet cloth
• Roll the dough & cut circle shape to form momos
Momos filling :
1cup cabbage
1 cup matki(Moth)
1/2 cup carrot
1/2 cup capsicum
1tbsp finely chopped ginger
4-5 finely chopped garlic
• Heat a pan with 2tbsp oil , put finely chopped garlic & ginger
• Then add all the finely chopped veggies & roughly grounded matki
• Stir fry for few minutes & let it cool
• Now place the filling in the dough & form momos shape.
• Place it in a steamer for 8 mins on medium flame.
Momos chutney:
100 gm dried chillies
1 medium sized tomato
1 medium sized onion
1/4 cup garlic
1tbsp ginger
1tbps black pepper powder
3 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp soya sauce
salt to taste
• Soak dried chillies in water for 15 mins
• Boil the soaked chillies with onion, Tomato, 1/4 cup garlic & 1tbsp ginger for 5mins
• Let it cool down to room temperature & grind it to smooth paste
• Then heat a pan with smooth paste add 3tbsp vinegar & 1tbsp soya sauce for 1 mins
